Abstract

This work tries to show the legal theory of the lawyer, political philosopher and Austrian economist Friedrich August von Hayek as safeguard of the individual liberty against the power of the State; thus, as a counterbalance to the dominating legal doctrines that defend the massive presence of the State in the private sphere.
